Health Guidelines
Working in close partnership with the Miami-Dade city-county health department, Toro Toro is taking the following precautions to limit exposure to COVID-19:
Contact-less Transactions
Toro Toro will have contact-less payment options and encouraging all guests to pay by credit card.
Social distancing between all tables
Tables are spaced 6 feet apart from each other.
Controlled guest flow
A hostess will manage the arrival and seating of customers in a designated waiting area near the front door. We will be enforcing social distancing while in the waiting areas in order to stay 6 feet apart from any guest that is not in your party. Designated floor markers are available as guides.
Protective face masks for all staff
All kitchen, management and front of house staff will be required to wear protective face masks while on duty.
In-depth staff training
All staff will be required to participate in our COVID-19 training prior to the re-opening of the restaurant.
Dedicated sanitization staff
Dedicated bussers will be responsible for clearing tables after each seating and will fully sanitize tables prior to the next seating.
Continuous sanitization
Toro Toro will continue thorough and frequent sanitation practices in the dining areas, restrooms, server stations, and kitchen area during service hours. Hand sanitizer and disposable disinfectant wipes will be available throughout the restaurant for guests to use.
Restrooms
Restrooms will be cleaned and sanitized every 30 minutes.
Daily deep clean
Our in-house custodian staff will conduct a deep clean each day before service.
Touchless Menus
Toro Toro will offer QR codes on each guest table to reduce the spread of any germs. Guests can simply use their smartphone camera to simply scan and view the full menu.
Strict compliance of all deliveries
Toro Toro will require all vendors and third-party partners to wear protective face masks when entering the restaurant. Additionally, the staff will wipe down and fully sanitize all food and beverage deliveries prior to those deliveries entering the kitchen.
Employee screenings
Staff members will have their temperature checked prior to each shift. Any employee that is experiencing any symptoms associated with COVID-19 has been told to not come to work. If symptoms are noticed by management upon their check-in procedure, that staff member will be immediately sent home.
Reservations are encouraged. Walk-ins will be honored based on capacity.
